John RunnebaumSenior Vice PresidentJohn Runnebaum, Senior Vice President & Commercial Loan Officer, joined the VisionBank team in 2021. John has been in community banking nearly 2 decades and brings a wide-variety of industry experience to the VisionBank team. He has built a reputation with his colleagues and clients as someone who is willing to go the extra mile. As a Commercial Loan Officer, John is able to apply both his critical thinking skills and his love of people to help customers meet their financial goals. When it comes to banking, John approaches customers’ needs from many different directions. His ability to listen and absorb what makes each customer unique has made him a huge asset to the VisionBank team. His passion for helping any customer, whether commercial or consumer, guides his decision making every day. John has a Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and additional education in banking include: Bank Leaders of Kansas Certificate from the Kansas Bankers Association, completion of Advanced School of Banking, and completion of the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, CO. John uses his professional and community affiliations to impact our community and is especially passionate about building relationships and deepening his roots in Topeka and the surrounding area. He has had community involvement in Rotary, local business associations, and served in the Kansas Army National Guard for 8 years.
